Okay. I know that was a stupid corny (stupid + corny) title. I couldn’t come up with anything better. Anyways, my buddy, Ray is probably going to hate me for posting this but, I really like how this turned out. I was experimenting with trying to get fill flash using the built in flash so the subject and sunset would be properly exposed. This was probably the lone picture that came out half way decent.
The original picture was a little washed out because of the harsh lighting from the built in flash but with a littl post processing in Lightroom, I think I was able to salvage it. What do you guys think? Anything I could’ve done differently?

My sister, brother and their families were down in SoCal last weekend for a much needed vacation. On Saturday, they drove down to Carlsbad to go to Legoland. On their way there, they stopped by my condo to check out the place. It was great to have them finally see it since I’ll be moving out in a couple of weeks.
This trip was the first for my nephew, Joshua. It was quite an experience to say the least. By the end of the day though, everybody had fun and was looking forward to the trip to Disneyland the following day. Below are a few of my favorite pics from Legoland.
The picture below was taken right before Jenn, Edison and Joshua were about to get on their first ride. We had been waiting in line for about 45 minutes and during the wait, you could tell Joshua was getting flustered and impatient. By the time we got to the front of the line, he didn’t want to go on the ride and let everybody know about it. Haha!

Joshua eventually started enjoying himself, espescially when we got to the game area. Love this sequence of him. He actually won a prize at this game.

Tobey and Joshua were having a blast.

Tobey had fun driving the Lego cars.

And he proudly showed off the license that he received.

For my third trip to Disneyland in as many weeks, I’m staying with my brother who booked the presidential suite at Worldmark by Wyndham in Anaheim, CA. This place is awesome! 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, stainless steal appliances, lcd’s in each bedrooms, hardwood floors, etc.

This was taken at La Jolla Cove yesterday afternoon. I was hoping for some clear skies to capture a typical SoCal sunset but it wasn’t meant to be. I captured this instead.
